The entertainment industry is the home of the quick and seemingly effortless slim down, but with the boom of social media and ever more invasive reporting, we are all coming to realise our favourite stars are more like us than we thought

Here are the not-so-secret diets that gave our favourite stars their banging bodies.

Beyoncé’s Coachella diet

Coachella 2018 was definitely one for the books. Even those of us who were not there know all about Beyoncé’s out of this world performance. Her energy and of course her body less than a year after she gave birth to twins Rumi and Sir were amazing

How did this mom of three do it you ask? Well, aside from the hectic dance rehearsals she had and a personal trainer, Beyoncé was reportedly on the 22-Day Revolution diet for 40 days.

The plant based vegan diet is based on recipes from the book The 22-Day Revolution: The Plant-Based Program That Will Transform Your Body, Reset Your Habits, and Change Your Life (with foreword by Beyoncé). While many who tried the diet complained about being hungry the first week, they all saw results.

Kelly Clarkson’s Plant Paradox diet

Plant paradox diet sounds like the title of an indie sci-fi you’ll barely understand, but the results don’t need any translation.

Although Kelly Clarkson embraced her fuller figure, she has recently been losing weight reportedly in an attempt to stay healthy.

Kelly Clarkson lost almost 20kg on the lectin free diet that not only outlaws gluten, but another protein found in most foods including fruits and veggies. According to the plant paradox creator Dr. Steven Gundry, lectin is a plants defense against predators who would want to eat it and eating it causes a reaction similar to an autoimmune disease. As if that isn’t bad enough, he also blames lectin for weight gain and storage of fat.

Kim Kardashian-West’s Atkins 40

Mrs West may be famous for her slim-thick body, but most people think it’s the result of a healthy dose of the nips and tucks and very little more.

Kim Kardashian is said to be a long term Atkins 40 supporter and while she allows herself a treat every now and then, she eats only 40g of healthy carbs a day on most days and maintains a clean diet.

Even if she did have some surgery to help along the way, maintaining your weight after weight loss surgery is important if you want to keep your very expensive results.
