If you’ve ever been lucky enough to spend a night at The Oyster Box, these photos will evoke fond memories of one of the most special and personal luxury hotels in Africa
My daughter will never forget being able to choose the movie in their private cinema and feeling like a 13 year-old princess as the staff bustled around her, making her comfortable with a knee rug, popcorn and a giant glass sweetie jar.
The champagne and fresh oysters at breakfast were my favourite part of our stay, and my husband has nostalgic memories of a morning spent lounging at the pool, while the jazz ensemble crooned in the background from the terrace…
If you haven’t stayed at this iconic hotel, then put it on your bucket list for a post-Covid treat. You can eat at their restaurants and enjoy the magnificent spa for now, but a stayover when you can, is highly recommended.
Fans of the hotel will be proud to hear about their latest reward, and for those who haven’t experienced this national treasure, read on and enjoy the pics!
