On Friday last week, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) officially launched the party’s online merchandise store. Supporters can now purchase party regalia while practising social distancing…
“This innovative initiative, pioneered by talented young black professionals is the first of its kind in the political arena and is part of the modernisation of the EFF as we all accustom ourselves to the realities of social distancing and technological development,” said EFF national spokesperson, Vuyani Pambo.
The new store crashed in the first week that it went live, but is now up and running for supporters to purchase warm winter merchandise from the party. EFF leader, Julius Malema and his colleagues are featured on the site wearing the red regalia.
A winter beanie will set you back R60, while the iconic red beret is R100. Malema’s warm red jacket proved to be a popular buy at R850 and is already out of stock. For those who enjoy casualwear, the tracksuit pants are available for R450.
Those who purchase items can have them delivered, or have the option of collecting directly from the EFF warehouse in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
“We continue to urge all South Africans to stay at home, stay safe and make their pur
chases online this winter in the comfort of their homes. We shall overcome,” said the party.
