A baby who made headlines when she was born at just 27 weeks, weighing 0,6 kilograms, is now a thriving toddler
Little Rose Ffrench was delivered by C-section in Kent, England when her mother, Becky, developed pre-eclampsia at 27 weeks. According to Becky, she hadn’t experienced any abnormalities in her pregnancy before then.
Rose was placed on life support and a ventilator for three days, and spent four months in hospital before she was finally allowed to go home. She still only weighed in at 2,6 kilograms (5lb 9oz) when she left hospital.
Two years on, Rose is a healthy, happy toddler, and Becky hopes her story will bring hope and inspiration to other parents going through similar situations.
