The Little Things That Make a Big Difference’ is an article series outlining weight loss and diet interventions that may seem insignificant, but can make a huge difference to the success of your diet plan.

Should you take supplements?

When it comes to supplements, one of the most important things to note is that there IS such a thing as TOO MANY! And too much of some supplements can really harm you. So the big question is “How much is too much?”.

The problem is that the labels are often a bad way to tell. You see, nutrition labels on supplement bottles are often misleading. The daily dose for certain things is too low to be really helpful. But that doesn’t mean you should gulp down a whole handful of tablets either.

It’s a little bit of admin, but you need to do some research and figure out how much you can and should take on your own.

Find a balanced viewpoint

You need to take all of the information at your disposal (from credible sources) and decide from there. If there’s information that is conflicting, then keep researching, or try for a middle ground.

Most importantly, don’t believe anything that has a sales pitch attached. If someone’s trying to sell you something ,then their advice only has one purpose, and that is the sale. Look for your information from people outside of that loop.
