A desperate search for six-year-old Alexia Nyamadzawo who was reportedly abducted from her mother’s vehicle on Sunday evening has ended with the discovery of a body by IPSS Medical Rescue’s Search and Rescue division…

According to a post on the organisation’s Facebook page, the rescue team assisted the SAPS K9 Search & Rescue team to try to locate Nyamadzawo who was kidnapped out of the back of her mother’s car on Sunday night.

“Due to the perseverance and dedication of SAP Umhlali detectives, armed with new information, a search area in Rietvalley just outside of Glendale was identified. With the help of SAPS K9 Search & Rescue dogs, the body of the 6-year-old was located,” said the organisation.

This is a developing story… It has not yet been officially confirmed that the body found belongs to Alexia Nyamadzawo. Police are continuing with their investigation.
