Did you know your vacuum can help you suck up larger rubbish – like broken glass?
With one quick and simple adaptation, you can use it to help you find small lost objects (without fear of them being vacuumed into the body of the vacuum) or even pick up glass without risk to the unit or your fingers!
All you need to do is slip an old knee-high or stocking over the end of the vacuum nozzle and hold in place temporarily with an elastic band.
This way, you will still get the full suction of the vacuum, and small dust particles will pass through into the unit.
Larger pieces will be filtered out, instead, but remain pressed to the outside of the stocking for you to retrieve.
From removing dangerous shards of broken glass to finding your earring or contact lens – this handy tip has you covered!
