Given the surge in demand for online shopping, Checkers has launched Sixty60, and now offers customers three different delivery services.

The service is currently available in 19 areas in Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape and will soon be expanded into a further 17. With Sixty60, customers can have their groceries delivered to their door within 60 minutes of completing their order.

1. Sixty60

Checkers Sixty60 is a supermarket first in South Africa according to the brand. “We deliver groceries and drinks in 60 minutes at the same low in-store prices.”

Sixty60 delivers groceries at the touch of a button at the same value for money for which Checkers is renowned. Plus, with a standard delivery fee of just R35, Sixty60 offers better value than any other grocery delivery service in South Africa.

2. Sixty60 Boxed

Sixty60 Boxed is an additional service, offering bulk same-day delivery of groceries and household supplies. It is a collaboration between Sixty60 and CFS, servicing selected parts of the Western Cape and Gauteng including Stellenbosch, Paarl, Centurion, Pretoria North and Pretoria East.

How does it work?

  • Choose from over 4000 groceries including meat, fruit, vegetables, personal hygiene and household cleaning products. New products are constantly being added to the offering.
  • Order before 1pm to qualify for same-day delivery. Deliveries are available Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm.

3. Checkers Food Services (CFS)

Customers can also order groceries for home delivery in selected areas of the Western Cape and Gauteng through Checkers Food Services (CFS).

Delivery is free, but a minimum order value of R1 000 is applicable.
