Increasing your activity level can help you to lose weight.

Engaging in more activities will enable you to burn more calories. Burning more calories is key to losing weight and keeping it off too. Increasing the number of physical activities that you do, does not have to be a tiring and boring task. Simply choose to do things that you enjoy and do them as often as you can!

For example, give gardening a try if you haven’t done it before. It is a great way to neaten up your garden, relieve stress and burn calories at the same time. Alternatively, share the household chores instead of letting your spouse/ partner/ family member or roommate do it all by themselves.

Remember that exercise and physical activity have many other health benefits apart from weight loss. So increasing your activity level can be good for you.  Always remember to consult with your doctor before starting any new exercise regime or making intense changes to your current one – especially if you suffer from any medical conditions and for some reason are required not to place your body or yourself under any form of stress or strain.
