There are a lot of myths and misconceptions out there about what aesthetic doctors call ‘injectables’…
If you’re wondering what injectables are, they include a whole range of treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers and threads. Used alone or in combination, these treatments show incredible results when it comes to relaxing wrinkles, restoring the skin’s volume, reshaping jawlines, lifting neck skin, non-surgical facelifts and in many other applications.
Even though these procedures are non-surgical and non-invasive, many people have a lot of questions about how well they really work, how to choose a reputable aesthetic doctor and what to expect from the treatments.
We’re giving you a chance to ask all those questions and there’s no one more qualified to answer them than the skin professionals at Skin Renewal. Because they use the latest technologies and treatments, they know exactly which injectables work best for which skin conditions and what the results are likely to be.
Who will be answering your questions?
Dr Maureen Allem is the founder and Medical Director of the Renewal Institute. She is a general practitioner with a special interest in aesthetic procedures and integrative and anti-ageing medicine. In fact, Dr Allem was one of the first in South Africa to train other doctors in botulinum toxin and dermal filler procedures!
When she’s not helping her patients, she’s travelling the world attending global anti-ageing congresses and laser forums to stay at the cutting edge of innovations in her sphere. She is also one of the founding committee members of the Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa.
How to ask your question
