Let’s face it, #LifeInLockdown and being stuck in our homes can be challenging and most of us could use a little morale boost.
The news has been a little doom and gloom of late but, among all this, many upliting stories are emerging. Local heroes are doing their bit to keep spirits up, provide essential services and ensure their fellow South Africans are safe and healthy.
So, let’s try to focus on the good for a change, starting with all the local unsung heroes who are making a difference and helping people to ‘live a little Pura’ during lockdown.
We’d like your nominations
It doesn’t matter if it’s someone you’re close to, someone you’ve heard about, someone you’ve seen on social media, or someone you’ve seen on the news – let us know who your local hero is and why you think they deserve to be recognised.
“At PURA Soda we believe that if you are in a position to make a difference, then you should, and if everyone had this philosophy then the world would be a better place. This is why we want to recognise our local lockdown heroes. From the moms and dads busy homeschooling their kids, to healthcare workers and grocery store cashiers, many are working hard to help us weather this storm. We think it’s important to tell their stories and give them the recognition they deserve”, says Greig Jansen, PURA Soda CEO.
Prize: Amazing PURA Soda hampers worth R6000!
At the end of lockdown, local heroes will be selected to win massive PURA Soda hampers. So, be sure to send your nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org and watch this space to find out all about the winning heroes.
