Healthy cooking methods

Opt to use healthy cooking methods when preparing meals for yourself. Avoid deep frying foods all the time. Grilled foods can be delicious whilst using a lesser quantity of oil than frying for example.

In addition, avoid overcooking foods as this destroys most of the nutrients that they contain. Note that meat should be adequately cooked before consumption. You do, however, have much more flexibility when it comes to vegetables.
