Despite Sjava being dropped from not one but two upcoming concerts, the SABC has vowed not to boycott the music of the rape accused artist despite the serious allegations

We may be living in the times of the ‘cancel culture’, but the public broadcaster insists that this is not the case with the KZN-born muso.

His music will be continued to be played on both their TV and radio platforms, affirmed the SABC.

“The SABC respects the rule of law and believes that any allegations levelled against anyone should follow the due process of the law,” acting SABC spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo said.

“Thus at this stage, it is premature for the SABC to take any decision regarding broadcasting Sjava’s music.”
