If you’re anything like most food lovers (myself included), you’re a fan of quantity.

You like to eat, but a small portion of a great food never feels like enough. You want LOTS of good food. And usually, you get it.

While it would be nice to be like those few people who can seemingly eat whatever they want and stay skinny, ours is a different world. We have to watch what we eat.

Most people tackle this problem by saying ‘NO’ to any food they crave. This solves one problem – the diet one – but creates another. You become unhappy.

The real solution?

Allow yourself ONE small portion of anything you really love (per day). This doesn’t mean you can eat one of everything you’d like to eat every day, but you do get the chance to have a little indulgence without breaking the calorie-bank if you want to.

One (of almost anything) won’t harm your diet, but it may make you markedly happier, and thus prevent you from a bout of the blues (which usually leads to a binge). Just make sure you count the calories of your ONE treat into your overall calorie allowance for the day.
