Check expiration dates
Make it a rule of thumb to check expiration dates on products before purchasing them. You will see that there are two dates on a product. The first one is usually the date on which the product was manufactured. The second one, or later date, should be the expiration date.
Often, products are sold at a reduced price if their expiration date is close by. Be sure to keep a lookout for this date especially when products are on sale or are on the famous ‘buy one get one free’ offer.
