Nonkanyiso Conco has found herself in the tabloids again after her father complained about her ignoring his side of the family
Nonkanyiso must think that somebody has got it in for her. For the second Sunday in a row, she found herself in the tabloids for a less than flattering story about her family.
Last week, she trended after it seemed as if she was throwing shade at former president Jacob Zuma after an open letter caught the attention of the tabloids. In this letter to her son, Nonkanyiso confirmed that she would be raising a boy child alone and many felt that this was shade to her husband but she quickly denied these reports.
However, a week later Nonkanyiso was in the papers again and this time it was because her father had a real issue with how little he had seen of her.
The angry parent spoke to Zulu publication Isolezwe and revealed that she hadn’t spent any time with her paternal family. He warned her when he said, “Nothing will ever go accordingly for Nonkanyiso, she must come back home and humble herself. I always pray about this. Even when I was admitted in hospital, she never bothered to check up on me.”
A war of words has erupted over whether former president Jacob Zuma paid lobolo for his latest fiancé, Nonkanyiso Conco.

He went on to share the sad story about how he and his side of the family were blindsided during the lobola negotiations, which as custom dictates, are usually meant to take place with the bride’s father and his side of the family
Instead, Mr Conco revealed, “My only sin was to ask Zuma to come to me as her dad when he wanted to pay ilobolo and for impregnating my daughter. He never did. Instead, he went behind my back and paid lobola to Nonka’s biological mother, who lives in the Eastern Cape.”
Nonkanyiso has yet to respond to these latest allegations from her family but you can be sure that, right now, all the businesswoman wants is a break from the tabloids!
