Fix leaks as soon as they happen

Leaky taps and pipes are a common problem around the home. Over time they can cause water damage around the house and if there are leaks in the pipes in your walls, they can compromise the structure of your home.

If you see watermarks on your walls and ceilings or notice water dripping when it shouldn’t be, the wisest thing to do is to call a plumber.

DIY plumbing can be tricky and create bigger, more expensive problems in the long run. When leaks and watermarks are accompanied by cracks in your walls, the problem could be more serious than just bad plumbing.

Faulty plugs and lights

We use electricity in our homes every day. Because we rely on it so much, it’s important to make sure you check and maintain your electric sockets and power supply regularly.

All the electricity and power outlets in your home are connected to the main switch of your home. Because all the power in your home is connected, a small fault in one area could become a bigger fault in other parts of your home.

The damage caused by electric faults can sometimes be limited by safety triggers in the main switch and the earth leakage. Make sure these safety triggers are in working condition.

Your home is more than just a roof over your head, but if it’s less than a complete roof over your head, you could be in trouble.

Loose roof tiles don’t only open your home up for weather damage but also infestation. Birds, rats and other small animals can easily make their own home between your roof and your ceiling. So get them fixed as soon as you spot them!
