Faulty plugs and lights

We use electricity in our homes every day. Because we rely on it so much, it’s important to make sure you check and maintain your electric sockets and power supply regularly.

All the electricity and power outlets in your home are connected to the main switch of your home. Because all the power in your home is connected, a small fault in one area could become a bigger fault in other parts of your home.

The damage caused by electric faults can sometimes be limited by safety triggers in the main switch and the earth leakage. Make sure these safety triggers are in working condition.
