The first lady of rugby WAGS recently made headlines with her hilarious back-to-school pictures

She had moms in stitches when she posted an image of herself relaxing in the pool while her children, Nicholas and Keziah, looked on.

Her husband, Siya Kolisi and his siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, were also in the shot with the young ones looking equally glum about returning to school.

It’s not the first time moms could relate to Rachel’s mommy diaries.

While many people would expect the famous WAG to be living a glamorous lifestyle that includes multiple nannies and expensive shopping sprees, Rachel’s life as a celebrity mom is a lot simpler – though things can get crazy.

Here’s a look at five times Rachel proved she was just a ‘regular’ mom…

Travelling with kids is never easy

Rachel Kolisi and her family often take trips together locally and abroad but travelling with minors is no easy task. The 28-year-old flew to Japan for the Rugby World Cup last year and took her children, Nicholas and Keziah, along with her.

“Please pray,” she joked before they headed to the airport.

Rachel was equally anxious about their flight home.

“21 hours, 3 countries, 2 kids, 750 bags. Economy please be kind,” she wrote.

Mommy glam doesn’t always go as planned

Looking after four children means Rachel rarely has time to do her own make-up. Even if she did have the time, she has admitted in the past that she pretty much sucks at doing her own “face beat”.

Rachel and Siya looked glamorous on the red carpet at the SA Sports Awards in November last year. But she revealed that she had a bit of behind-the-scenes drama.

“Our flight from CT was 5 hours delayed. We were supposed to walk the red carpet at 5pm. We only landed after 5pm. And if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I literally am useless at doing make-up and hair myself. So I had a team booked to help me. This was literally the quickest hair and make-up I’ve ever done. I was also exhausted,” Rachel wrote on Facebook.

Feeding time takes place any- and everywhere

Rachel shared this candid picture of herself feeding her daughter Keziah on a railway station floor during her trip to Japan.

Keziah needed a snack and Rachel did not think twice about stopping everything to feed her little one – floor germs and all!

“Quick pit stop on the Kobe station floor before the bullet train to Tokyo,” she captioned the snap.
