  1. People can look healthy and have an eating disorder.
  2. Families are not to blame.
  3. An eating disorder is a health crisis and should be taken seriously.
  4. Eating disorders can rewire someone’s brain, similar to how trauma affects someone psychologically.
  5. Genes and environment play a role.
  6. Full recovery is possible.
