Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung have made an interesting request for their white wedding
The couple want all their guests to wear shoes with red soles.
While the message they sent their guests doesn’t say which brand of shoes they should wear, French designer Christian Louboutin made red-soled shoes famous.
“Trusting that your outfit is coming together, just one last request from us: Can your shoes please be Red Bottoms. We are obsessed with the idea a stunning red bottom group picture, for that touch of finesse,” the request read.

That ‘touch of finesse’ is likely to cost guests thousands of rands
No A-list star will be caught dead in anything but Christian Louboutin ‘red bottoms’ – anything else might seem like a knock-off.
The brand makes red-bottom shoes for both men and women.
The designer footwear costs anything from R7 000 for a basic leather pump to R16 000 for ‘By the River’ calf hair ankle boots. Britney Spears bought a pair of snakeskin Louboutin heels for a whopping R87 000 in 2019.
Somizi and Mohale’s guests are also required to wear white on their wedding day, which they feel will be “beautifully complimented by the red”.
The couple is pulling out all the stops for their white wedding. Their big day is taking place sometime soon and follows the posh traditional wedding they held in September last year.
Bonang Matheba, Pearl Thusi, Lerato Kganyago, Casper Nyovest, Khanyi Mbau and Thando Thabethe were just some of the A-list stars that attended.
Twitter users offered some advice for Somizi and Mohale’s famous guests
“Tell him I paint shoes for R150 per shoe,” one tweep joked.

One tweep noted that all the guests are rich and can afford Louboutin shoes.
