Eyebrows are an important feature that can make all the difference between looking good and looking like a hot mess

Stars like Rihanna are picky about who does their brows. The singer revealed in 2018 that she prefers to do her own eyebrows.

“There are going to be things you can do better than make-up artists. There’s a certain point where they hand you something and you do it because there’s one way that you like it and one way that works. For me, that’s my brows. I’m super, super caught up about my brows,” she said.

From microblading to buying expensive eyebrow kits, there is nothing many women wouldn’t do to achieve what they consider their perfect brows.

Getting the shape right is the first step.

These celebrity eyebrow shapes might work for you depending on the thickness and length of your brows…

DJ Zinhle

Like many women, DJ Zinhle has sparse eyebrows. Instead of ‘drawing’ on sharpie-life eyebrows, the DJ tries to keep her eyebrows as natural as possible.

She uses an eyebrow pencil to lightly shape and fill in her brows. Use light strokes and a brown pencil to achieve a natural look.

Mihlali Ndamase

If you don’t have thick enough eyebrows to achieve a high arch, try an angled peak like Mihlali. It gives you a bit of lift while lengthening your brows so they appear longer.
