If you’ve always wanted to know which products really work, which are a waste of money and which could be harming your skin, now’s your chance to find out!

The world of skincare ingredients can be difficult to understand. For instance, we all know that one of the best skincare products money can buy is a good sunscreen, but did you know there are certain products and skincare ingredients you shouldn’t wear in the sun?

It makes no sense to invest valuable time and money in products that are inactive, ineffective and won’t make any difference to your skin – so how do you know which ones are worth your hard-earned cash?

We’ve teamed up with the doctors at Skin Renewal to answer your questions about skincare ingredients.

Who will be answering your questions?

Dr Lestonn Lawn is a GP with a special interest in aesthetic, anti-ageing and cosmetic medicine. As well as being an experienced medical doctor, he also holds a certificate with the American Aesthetic and Anti-aging Society.

While he was a GP in Pretoria, he developed a keen interest in aesthetic medicine. He practised aesthetic medicine alongside general medicine, before joining the Renewal Institute.
