With so many toys and trinkets on the shelves, how do you know what to include to make it the best-filled Christmas stocking ever?
Christmas stockings are a fun way to get your kids psyched about their ‘bigger’ presents; and opening them first on Christmas eve or Christmas morning is something that kids often look forward to most!
But, with so many toys and trinkets on the shelves, how do you know what to include to make it the best-filled Christmas stocking ever?
Cara Birkett, Marketing Manager, Hasbro South Africa shares her top hints for creating the perfect stocking fillers for your kids:
- Think interactive: Toys that engage your child, will likely keep him or her busy for longer (so that mom can put her feet up and have a second helping of Christmas pudding).
- Why not include a teaser to a ‘bigger’ present? For example, you could build the excitement to their bigger Play-Doh play set, with a tub or two of actual Play-Doh.
- Compact toys or games that can easily be tucked into the car are ideal stocking fillers – especially if you’re planning on travelling after Christmas day!
- Sharing doubles the fun! It’s much more fun when kids receive similar toys that they can play with and use together!
