Rachel Kolisi was left fuming this week after her husband, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi’s car was broken into
The mom-of-two revealed on her Instagram Story that a car guard caught the suspect in the act.
“Siya’s car was broken into two hours ago. The car guard caught the guy. We called the cops and still waiting for them to arrive. Also, don’t ever bother calling 10111. They literally don’t answer the phone,” she said.
Rachel said she was told that the man was just going to be given a warning and sent on his way.
“The car guard said once the cops are here, they’re going to give the guy a warning and release him. And they wonder why crime stats are through the roof out here.”
The suspect was placed in a security car and taken to the nearest police station. Rachel followed the vehicle to the station.
“They arrested him and took statements from me and the car guard. Grateful something was done.”
It looks like Rachel has put the car theft drama behind her only to have some more drama at the airport
“Remember when I went to Monaco in Feb and couldn’t go to the Laureus Awards because my bag didn’t come? Literally explained the whole story to the lady checking me in on my flight to JHB, stressing the fact that my bag needs to come this time. Just landed in JHB – no bag,” she wrote.
Thankfully, the airline found her bag just before she checked-in for her international flight.
Rachel and Siya are headed to Monaco for the Peace and Sports Awards in Monaco.
The awards are taking place on Thursday.
