When you think of shaving cream, you probably don’t associate it with upholstery!
Yet this clever little trick could be just what you’re looking for if you have a couch stain that you can’t clean.
Shaving cream has a lot in common with the ‘foam-style’ upholstery cleaners, and can actually be used as a nifty substitute in an emergency.
It is important to mention we’re talking strictly about non-gel shaving creams here. And as always, we’d advise a patch test.
If you get the all-clear, however, spray directly onto the grime or stain, and gently work in with a cloth.
Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, then blot it dry. The stain should lift away.
While it’s a little out there, this simple trick can be incredibly useful for those upholstery stains you just can’t clear.
