Zozibini Tunzi is not South Africa’s only beauty queen taking part in a major pageant in America this week

Mrs SA Jacqueline Ferns touched down in Las Vegas last week for the Mrs World pageant.

She unveiled her national costume a few days ago and her outfit has been well received.

The gown, which is designed by Dr B. The Fashion Doctor, was hand crafted using precious stones that resemble South Africa’s minerals.

The emerald green look was completed with a head accessory adorned with gold roses and peacock feathers.

“The minerals of the Rainbow Nation. Delicately set in a land adorned with absolute natural beauty, in the order of the peacock,” Mrs SA officials wrote about the outfit.

Social media users can’t stop gushing about the gown.

“Breathtakingly beautiful,” one Instagram user wrote.

Another added: “This lady’s going to walk away with the world title.”

Jacqueline will also wear an off-white pearl and crystal encrusted handmade gown for her evening look.

The Mrs World festivities are in full swing and Jacqueline is having the time of her life.

“Viva Las Vegas!! Excitement overload and bucket list ticket,” she wrote on Instagram when she landed in the city.

Jacqueline also got to stay in Elvis Presley’s penthouse suite at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

“Very surreal to think the King of Rock & Roll walked these halls,” she wrote.

The married beauty queen took a moment from all the excitement to remind women to always be their true authentic self

“The most beautiful thing to me is a woman who knows who she is. A women who loves her flaws and celebrates her strengths. A woman who loves other women and builds them up, a woman who gives you her whole self because she knows who she is, and what she has to offer… that to me is beauty,” she wrote.

Mrs World is taking place on Friday, December 6.
