Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi is not letting anything kill her vibe at the Miss Universe pageant

The Eastern Cape beauty has shared some of her embarrassing moments behind-the-scenes and why they don’t bother her.

“Once again today, I woke up and I chose to be me. My eyelash fell off during breakfast LOL, I might have at some point used the wrong cutlery, I waved back at someone who wasn’t waving at me (AWKWARD),” she wrote on Instagram.

Zozi added that she just laughed off her silly moments

“Today I was imperfect as I always am, then I got back and I laughed at myself and made silly faces. Tonight we’re going out again… looking forward to seeing how I’m gonna embarrass myself this time.”

The 26-year-old had another faux pas soon after arriving in Atlanta, Georgia, last week.

She had a slight wardrobe malfunction after the beads on a clothing item she was going to wear “got caught in something”.

Pageant officials are seen helping her sort out the problem.

Zozi might be having a silly moment or two (or three) at the Miss Universe pageant but her fans in South Africa and abroad are singing her praises.

“That’s fine baby… everyone can make mistake sometimes… you so cute even when you scare. Love from Indonesia,” one woman wrote.

A Twitter user from New York added: “Miss South Africa is in my top 5.”

Zozi will be taking place in the National Costume Competition on Friday and you can help secure her a spot in the Top 20

The Global Vote for the Preliminary and National Costume Competitions opened on Sunday.

According to Miss Universe officials, “the contestant who receives the highest number of votes for the Preliminary Competition will advance to the top 20 during the final MISS UNIVERSE® competition”.

Fans can already vote for Zozi in the Preliminary Competition on the official Miss Universe website.

Good luck, Zozi!
