Barracuda Lake, aka Luluyuan Lake, is a popular diving spot in the Philippines known for its changes in water temperature…

“It feels like you’re walking on the moon,” say divers. The water of the lake changes from fresh to salt water at around four metres down.

Visitors can reach the lake from a long wooden walkway that leads up from the beach and through some spectacular limestone formations.

Another strange phenomenon at the lake is that the water at the top of the lake is around 28 degrees Celsius. This increases to around 38 degrees Celsius at a depth of 14 metres!
