Be specific

Most people compile to-do lists on a daily or weekly basis. Having a list of things that you need to do for the day can be a fabulous reminder, especially if you are forgetful or need to remember a very important task. Whilst this is a great way to have a good idea on how you will spend your day, it can sometimes overwhelm some people.

Try being specific when creating a to-do list. For example, prioritise the tasks that are most important and that you cannot be flexible with regarding time. You can take it a step further by placing these tasks in an order of which requires completion first. Ensure that you give yourself sufficient time to complete these tasks before moving on to the remaining tasks.
