When it comes to weddings, celebrities sure know how to host lavish ceremonies
We’ve been blessed to witness some of the most gorgeous weddings (both traditional and Western!) over the past few years and it seems that our wedding planners are pulling out even more stops to ensure that our stars have a day to remember.
If you’ve ever fantasised about getting married at the same luxurious wedding venue as some of your favourite celebrities, we have a few options for you to consider:
Minnie Dlamini – Lourensford Estate
Minnie and Quinton tied the knot at Laurent, a wedding and event facility nestled within Somerset West’s Lourensford Estate.
The age-old vineyard was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and it looked gorgeous on their three-part wedding series, Becoming Mrs Jones.

Dineo and Solo – The Forum Embassy Hill in Constantia, Cape Town
Keeping it in the Western Cape, another couple who filmed their wedding journey is Dineo and Solo.
Their big day took place at The Forum Embassy Hill, a beautiful wedding venue in Constantia.

Somizi Mohale – Family residence, Kibler Park
You don’t always have to rent out a wedding venue if you have the space yourself.
For Somhale’s big day the loved-up duo made their way to Mohale’s family home in Kibler Park, Gauteng for a beautiful traditional wedding.

Kwesta and Yolanda – Thaba Eco Hotel
Kwesta and Yolanda’s picture-perfect white wedding took place at the Thaba Eco Hotel, (incidentally, also in Kibler Park!). The venue makes the most of Johannesburg’s stunning, forestous views.
