Have sufficient hours of sleep

Don’t let the excitement or anxiety of the holiday season affect your sleeping habits. An inadequate amount of sleep can leave you feeling more stressed about things that have been worrying you.

Remember that our bodies require sufficient sleep to function optimally. It is generally recommended that an individual gets between six and eight hours of sleep daily. This of course varies, depending on a person’s age, lifestyle and other factors.

Create a calming and relaxing sleep environment. Switch the television and other light emitting sources off. Free yourself from noises and distractions and enjoy a good night’s rest.
