Returning to work is a big step and one that can bring up mixed emotions so it’s important to get support and allow yourself time to adjust.

Family and Parenting Consultant Abi Gold shares three things to remember when going back to work after having a baby in the video above. Her tips include:

  1. Try to avoid becoming overwhelmed: It may feel like a logistical nightmare, but you can do it!
  2. Quality over quantity: There is no direct correlation between being a good mom and the number of hours you spend with your children.
  3. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness: You’re only human, so stop thinking that you should be able to do everything yourself.
