Bonang Matheba’s House of BNG bubbly has come a long way since its launch in March

Bottles of the popular Brut & Brut Rosé MCCs have been the official drink at several high-profile events including the Miss South Africa pageant.

The SA Sports Awards was added to this list of House of BNG supporters a few days ago when winners, including Siya Kolisi, were carrying the sparkling wine in official pictures.

The Springbok captain won the ‘People’s Choice Sports Star’ award at the event.

Queen B, who is currently in America, was bursting with pride after spotting the picture of Siya and House of BNG online

Dreams DO come true! Siya Kolisi, the Springbok’s 1st black captain celebrated his award last night at the South African Sport’s Awards with the @houseofbng… What a HUGE HUGE moment for me,” she wrote.

Bonang said that she got emotional when she saw the picture.

“I cried a little when I saw this image. It represents SO MUCH! The results of hard work & perseverance are always satisfying. We praise God. @bokrugby (Dream big, God will surprise you!) Congratulations @siya_kolisi_the_bear can’t wait to tell my kids about you one day! You inspire us ALL!”

Siya’s appearance at the SA Sports Awards got people talking for another reason

He attended the ceremony in Durban with his wife, Rachel Kolisi.

Rachel looked gorgeous in an Elmerane van Ryneveld dress and social media users couldn’t stop swooning over the couple.

Rachel also shared a picture of some of the behind-the-scenes drama.

“Our flight from CT was five hours delayed. We were supposed to walk the red carpet at 5pm. We only landed after 5pm. And if you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know i literally am useless at doing make up and hair myself. So I had a team booked to help me. This was literally the quickest hair and make-up I’ve ever done,” she wrote.

I have 469 (not literally) beautiful pics from this night. But i wanted to show you this 1 too. This is literally how i felt before we left the hotel. Our flight from CT was 5 hours delayed. We were supposed to walk the red carpet at 5pm. We only landed after 5pm. And if you’ve been following me for awhile you’ll know i literally am useless at doing make up and hair myself. So i had a team booked to help me. This was literally the quickest hair and make up I’ve ever done. I was also exhausted. So grateful to have been able to experience the night celebrating South African athletes! Also. This is the 2nd dress that @orijinel_by_elmeranevr Has made for me in 1 day – and shes based in Bloem!!
