Celebrities have joined scores of South Africans in showing love and support to a couple that got engaged at a KFC store

The unidentified couple is making headlines after a video of the proposal went viral on social media.

A man can be seen getting down on one knee to pop the question mid-meal. Onlookers quickly grabbed their phones to capture the sweet moment.

While some might have laughed at the proposal, the couple will soon have the last laugh. The hunt is now on to find them, with KFC leading the way.

“Mzansi please help us find this beautiful couple, re batla ho ba blesser. DM us any leads, there might be a Finger Lickin’ Good surprise in it for you too. Batho ba Vaal re thuseng! We love love,” an official tweet from the fast good giant’s account read.

When the couple is found they might be surprised that the Twitterverse has already planned their entire wedding, with every detail being sponsored by big brands and celebrities.

Radio personality Sindisiwe van Zyl, who seems to be the unofficial wedding planner, has already offered to take care of the bridal make-up
