Masechaba Ndlovu became the talk of the town on Wednesday after she praised Sjava’s one-man show, and seemed to ignore the drama surrounding him
Sjava and Lady Zamar’s two-year relationship was in the spotlight after the musician’s wife was introduced to the nation at his one-man show last weekend.
Fans were shaken by the turn of events, considering that Sjava and Zamar dated for two years.
The host for the night introduced two women whom Sjava holds close to his heart, his mom and makoti. Sjava’s mom, Thandi Nkabinde also introduced her daughter-in-law to fans.
“I don’t want to hear anyone ask anything about who Sjava is dating,” City Press quoted her as saying.
Zamar penned “her truth” in a lengthy Twitter thread, detailing the pain and alleged abuse she had endured in her relationship
Even though Zamar didn’t mention Sjava’s name, fans joined the dots.
“So did you ask him about his wife? Nigga swears up and down he is not married…So any more questions? I’ll answer. I wish this was for attention, I wish it was for float. I wish it was for anything but the truth…I’m just tired yo,” read one of her tweets.
In the wake of the storm, Masechaba who is usually vocally against abuse of any sort, praised Sjava for his show last weekend.
#OneNightWithSjava was a Godly experience. 😭 🙌🏾 I’ll share pics on my Instagram at 11am today.

Tweeps were split over the move and flooded the platform with their comments.
I am certainly not desperate for #Masechaba to comment on the Sjava and Lady Zamar saga but I CERTAINLY do not expect another woman to glorify an accused abuser. I am questioning Masechaba’s character. #Sjava #LadyZamar

I don’t know who she’s trying to spite or what she’s trying to justify but this type of energy is always reciprocated with the same kind of energy people never learn … what you do good or bad always always comes back to you…#Masechaba pic.twitter.com/f2zG1GQ16Q

I’ve always held Masechaba in high esteem. The inspiration came from her ‘I call out nonsense’ & ‘I don’t take bullshit’ attitude. And I’ve defended her actions because she had proven to have a consistent character…But today I feel let down #sjava #Masechaba #LadyZamar
