Make every day a good hair day by getting your common hair problems solved!
We all suffer a bad hair day from time to time, but when your bad hair day turns into a bad hair month and beyond, there’s definitely something more going on, and it’s worth trying to get to the root of the issue (we know, we know, but we just couldn’t help it!).
Your hair is your crowning glory, and unless you have a fabulous hat or wrap collection that you’re dying to show off, it’s time to get your common hair problems solved, so that you can truly say: “I woke up like this!”
1 ) “No matter how often I wash my hair, it always seems oily at the roots.”
This is a problem many people face, and it’s due to a number of issues.
Believe it or not, excessive use of heat tools can make your hair oily, as can product build up and touching your hair regularly.
Using a clarifying shampoo can help, but the problem is that people with oily hair tend to wash their hair more regularly, stripping it of its natural oils which, in turn, causes your hair to produce more oils, making it oilier, and so the problem continues.
The best thing to do is get out that dry shampoo, and stretch your hair between washes, which will help it find its natural balance.
2 ) “My hair won’t stop falling out!”
While it is normal to lose around 50-100 strands of hair every day, if this becomes significantly more and you notice patches of no hair, or notice that your hair is suddenly thinning out, this is slightly less normal, but not uncommon.
Many factors can cause sudden hair loss, with stress, medication, hormones and childbirth being the usual culprits, with excessive use of heat and styling tools not helping the issue.
You’ll need to take a look at your lifestyle to see if it could be something like stress or medication causing the problem, which is easily reversible, and keep your hair styling to the bare minimum.
Using a shampoo and conditioner for this issue will benefit you, too.
3 ) “My hairs just break whenever I try do anything to them.”
Dry, brittle hair is pretty common, especially if you live in very dry areas.
The fact that most of us make besties with our heat tools most certainly doesn’t help the matter, so while you certainly should use these less, you also need to make friends with a good mask or serum.
Dry hair is desperate for protein, and most masks contain the essential fats that can repair your hair.
4 ) “My hair just looks so… dull.”
If your beautiful salon colour goes from vibrant to dull quicker than you can blink, the reality is you need to use better products on it. If you want to prolong that colour, you need a shampoo and conditioner that will protect, enhance and nourish it, so ask your stylist which one they recommend.
