Don’t skips meals

A 24-hour fast once or twice per week is a great way to lose weight (read more about intermittent fasting here). This article is NOT about that. What I’m talking about here is making sure you stick to your eating plan. So when you’re NOT on a fast, you want to make sure that you don’t skip meals.

Why, you ask?

Well, skipping a meal is the number one reason people tend to end up binge eating non-diet foods later in the day. You skip a healthy lunch, only to snack on a bag of crisps and a chocolate bar at three in the afternoon because you’re ‘starving’. And once you’ve had that naughty snack, dinner is almost assuredly going to be a take-away burger meal of some sort, since your diet is messed up anyway.

So how do you avoid skipping meals?

Get serious about your diet PLAN. You see, dieting is actually as much about eating as it is about not eating. You have to eat the right things and not eat the other stuff in order to achieve your goals.

So when it’s time to eat, that’s a serious thing, and you need to take it seriously. Don’t skip a meal because it’s inconvenient. Make it a priority to get the HEALTHY food you need, so you don’t mess up later.
