It’s no secret that Bonang Matheba and Anele Mdoda don’t really see eye-to-eye

The pair allegedly started avoiding each other after Bonang had a falling out with one of Anele’s friends several years ago.

The Sunday Sun claimed in 2018 that Anele refused to allow Queen B to be a guest on her SABC 3 show, Real Talk.

Bonang eventually made an appearance on the show – after Anele left and was replaced with Azania Mosaka.

Anele denied that she did not want to interview South Africa’s media darling and had emails to prove that the show reached out to her more than once.

“I’d be stupid to refuse Bonang to come to the show. She’s a superstar and it’d be great to have her for ratings,” she told the publication.

Anele Mdoda gets dragged for dissing US singer Kelly Rowland

Fast-forward to 2019 and rumours of their long-standing feud have once again been reignited

The drama started when Anele decided to comment on who was best dressed at Somizi Mhlongo’s star-studded traditional wedding in late September.

“Pearl Thusi, Nomoozle (Nomuzi Mabena) and Thando Thabethe were best dressed at SomHale’s nuptials,” she wrote.

Bonang also attended the wedding but got no mention from Anele  even though many believed she was one of the best-dressed celebrities at the event as well.

Nobody thought anything of Anele’s innocent post until Bonang shared a tweet of her own several weeks later.

During the drama over Anele’s “mean” comments about Kelly Rowland not looking good without make-up, Queen B posted a cryptic tweet

“Finish her,” Bonang wrote.

Bonang shared the tweet that same day that Anele was being dragged by South Africans for her remarks about Kelly.

Tweeps thought that the timing of Queen B’s tweet was very telling even though she did not mention who she was referring to.

One user wrote: “When I saw Bonang’s ‘Finish her’ tweet I knew she was referring to Anele.”

“Who we finishing my love? The one trending?” another Twitter user added.

Another tweep wrote, “let’s give her a gap for now,” in reference to the gap between Anele’s front teeth.

The shade!
