The Prime Fest music festival was billed as a “family-friendly” event but some festivalgoers left feeling disgusted after Jack Parow’s performance

The festival took place at Casalinga in Muldersdrift last week.

The line-up included Prime Circle,The Parlotones, Just Jinjer, Freshlyground, Mango Groove and Wonderboom.

Jack Parow shocked festival-goers, some of whom attended with their children, by using foul language throughout his performance.

Some music lovers complained that the rapper spoiled an otherwise great festival

“Every band was excellent apart from Jack Parrow. Deeply disappointing that he used foul language repeatedly while there were many young children present. Some families with youngsters left. Every person I spoke with said he was disgusting,” one Facebook user wrote.

Another Facebook user also complained about the inappropriate visuals shown during Jack’s performance.

“The swearing by Jack Parrow and the visuals with his music, disgusting! Ask yourself do you think it is right to expose children to such profanity? Not good at all!!!”

Prime Fest organisers told TshisaLIVE that they are “sincerely sorry” for what happened.

“We never tell an artist what they can and cannot perform because we are usually under the impression that they know who they are performing for,” Roddy Quin told the publication.
