Roast beef or turkey slices

If you are looking for a great snack, then a protein-based food is always a good idea, because they will fill you up with useful calories, and you will not pack in any junk. So having some cold slices of roast beef or turkey would be a great idea. A couple of these on a slice of wholegrain bread and you’ll be good to go.

 

Apples

Apples are a lovely fruit to eat, because they are full of vitamins and all-important fibre, and they are sweet (or sour if you like those ones). I like to cut apples into quarters, and spread some peanut butter on each slice. This creates a healthy, tasty snack that will feel like a dessert. Try it, you’ll see.
