Keep a focus on just how much food and snacks you are consuming throughout the day otherwise you could easily find yourself gaining some weight.

Even if you are having small meals throughout the day, it can still be very easy to take in more calories than you could possibly be able to burn for the day. What should you do then, if you are trying to shed some calories and drop some weight?

Consider keeping a count of the number of calories that you are consuming throughout the day. This can include all meals, snacks as well as beverages. Perhaps do this on a day when you are taking in many small meals throughout the day and again on another day when you consume just main meals. You could take it further by also comparing it to days when you eat only when you are feeling hungry.

Determine on which day you are able to consume the least number of excess calories and perhaps use this as a guideline to help you lose weight.

Consult a professional

Always consult a dietitian if you require assistance in putting a meal plan together. In addition, you should always check with your doctor before making any drastic changes to your diet, especially if you are under medication or suffer from any medical condition that has an effect on your diet.
