The ONLY process that works (Part 3 – Final thoughts)

Over the last few weeks, we’ve discussed the fact that all successful dieting comes from some form of calorie restriction. This is the ONLY (non-medical, non-surgical) way that we can lose weight effectively.

We also looked at a simple way of making calorie restriction happen in your daily life by using a calorie-counting app.

Finally, we’re going to address some mistakes to avoid making

Don’t believe these myths about fat loss:

  • “Fat can turn into muscle in the gym” – IMPOSSIBLE. Fat cells and muscle cells are two different things. They can’t be transformed into a different type of cell!
  • “Cardio can help me lose a lot of weight” – Sorry, no form of exercise actually burns fat directly if your calorie intake is too high
  • “This magic supplement will help me shed the kilos” – It won’t. There’s no magic pill that helps you shed weight, and is also HEALTHY at the same time.

 Don’t believe this myth about healthy food:

  • “I can eat as much healthy food as I want” – Nope. Healthy foods are still CALORIES. Quality calories help you body function better as they contain nutrients, vitamins and fibre, but they are still calories. Too much healthy food can still make you fat!
