After last weekend’s disappointing snow event, snow-followers are hoping for some more snowfall before the season ends…

They might just get what they’re hoping for this week if they head for the Western Cape mountains. According to SnowReportSA, light snow is predicted for the area from late Wednesday night and through to Thursday.

“Up to 9cm may fall on the high-peaks to the northwest of Ceres in the Western Cape, with the freezing level dropping as low as 1750 metres, but most peaks will more likely receive 1-3 cm of snow.”

Take a look at the map below to see where the snowfalls are expected, and keep a lookout for updates from SnowReportSA.
