Former Miss South Africa Margaret Gardiner celebrated turning 60 in one of the best ways possible – she put on her bikini and spread an important message about body positivity

The women’s advocate shared the inspiring message on her Instagram page.

“It’s not about how you look, but how you move through life. Look for smiles. Be yourself and when anyone tries to label you as less, push back. You owe it to yourself to be the best you, you can be,” she wrote.

Margaret’s message wasn’t just for women, but everyone who has ever been told they are not good enough

“To all who have been told no, not now, you don’t match up. Too fat. Too thin. Too tall. Too short. Wrong color. Don’t try. Wrong gender. Wrong sex. Look clear eyed at what is said and reject what doesn’t apply. To all those who don’t fit, I celebrate you. I am one too.”
