Anele Mdoda shared her views in a controversial Twitter post which suggested that women who were raised by single moms did not turn out well

The Twitter user claimed that “dating someone who was raised in a two-parent household makes dating so much easier”.

The post was surprisingly made by a woman.

“Single mothers polluted women to think they don’t need man and raised men to think they’re suppose to take on the role as the man of the house at 5 years old,” she wrote.

Anele was one of dozens of people who weighed in on the bold statements made by the Twitter user

The radio personality pointed out that growing up in a house with both your parents does not guarantee stable relationships.

“I was raised in a two-parent household and I am a nightmare to date. I also ended up being a single parent so rewrite your thesis at your own pace,” she replied.

Many of the star’s followers agreed.

“I was raised by 2 parents; my dad was so abusive. Guess I inherited that, I’m a nightmare to date Bae unyamezele nje,” one wrote.

Another added: “I was also raised in a two parents Household but the way I struggling to get a stable Relationship its bad. almost all my Ex’s told me I am full on nonsense and I am difficult to love.”

One Twitter user added that there is no formula for parenting

“I was raised by a single mom, the person I married raised by two parents and guess how that ended? Without revealing my personal things, I wanted my child to grow up in a 2 parent household but when that home is toxic, what must happen? There is no formala for parenting. Period!!”

But the woman who made the original post did not back down from her remarks.

“Granted two parent household aren’t free of error but they set the tone of the roles a man and a woman and their places,” she tweeted.
