Kevin Hart beat Jerry Seinfeld in this year’s list of top-paid comedians according to Forbes magazine

Seinfeld is consistently top of the list, but this year, Hart earned $59 million (R906 million), beating Seinfeld’s $41 million (R630 million). South Africa’s favourite comedian, Trevor Noah made the list for the first time, coming in at number four, with $28 million (R430 million) in earnings.

Amy Schumer was the only woman to make the list in 2019. She was also the only woman on last year’s list. Despite having had a baby this year, and suffering a number of pregnancy complications, Schumer still managed to bring in $21 million (R323 million), putting her in seventh place on the ‘richest’ list.
