Children’s rooms can be such fun to decorate, but it can become costly if you need to update the space annually.

Here are some ways to create a space that can be easily and affordably updated…

Buy a good bed

If you want to save money in the long run, invest in a good bed that could last them from toddlerdom into their teens.

Forget the toddler bed – a side three-quarter bed is a good option that you can add toddler rails to or remove the legs to create a floor bed.

Go for neutral bedding

As cute as themed bed linen maybe, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly then neutral bedding is the way to go.

Grey, white and shades of beige are lovely neutral options for bed linen. Light blue is also great if you’d like to start with more colour as the base. It’s far cheaper to dress up a neutral bed with new scatter cushions and throws than it is to buy new duvet sets every year.

Grr POW!
