What do you do when you have a gig in Dundee and all the local B&Bs are fully booked?

Well, if you are Zodwa Wabantu you knock on a stranger’s door and ask if you could use the bathroom!

The dancer attended the Dundee July last weekend and caused a major stir in the area, where she was swarmed by scores of screaming fans who practically fell over themselves trying to get her picture.

At some point during the day, Zodwa needed to book into a B&B.

She took to Instagram to reveal that after learning that she could not get any accommodation she turned to the locals for help

“So yesterday all B&B’s were fully Booked at Dundee July. Being Zodwa Wabantu I decided to knock on a random house for a quick bath.

“Then we received a powerful prayer. When God walks with me,” she captioned the clip.

It’s not the first time Zodwa has dropped in at a stranger’s house announced

Last month, she visited a random person’s house to watch her reality show, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored.

Twitter user Bhejane, whose handle is @kafur, was minding his own business when he heard a knock on the door.

He found Zodwa standing in front of him.

“Cool story, Zodwa Wabantu knocked at my door & asked to watch her own show a couple of hours ago,” the Twitter user wrote.

Tweeps were shocked and asked for more details

“It’s such a long story. lmao! But she’s really cool and she even sent eWallet ye cooldrink before leaving,” Bhejane wrote.

He also shared a video of Zodwa watching the show in his living room as proof of their encounter.

Zodwa has no problem knocking on random people’s doors and she seems to be making a habit of it.

“I make a point to watch every episode of my show when it airs… This means I don’t get the chance to sit at home and watch my show. The first time I did this was in Mthatha. I had to knock on a couple of doors until I got someone with DStv,” she told the Daily Sun in an interview.
