Tbo Touch has added a new business venture to his growing empire

The radio personality has revealed that he will be launching a streaming service called ‘THD24’ on July 28.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Tbo Touch says the service will give users access to “great local content”.

He added that it will be “the Netflix of South Africa”.

“It will work similar to Netflix and have all our current content and eight new shows on video. They are all local, unheard of content. It is hours and hours of great local content. It’s the South African Netflix,” he told the publication.

Enhle Mbali will be hosting her very own show, Sincerely Yours, on the platform. Tbo says that Enhle will host the show alone as he didn’t want her to share the gig with anyone else.

“The show will feature international guests and local top guests opening up about their lives and inspirations, but it’s done in bed.”

As to what else we can expect to see on the streaming service, Touch did not reveal much…

…but more is expected to be revealed closer to the launch.

Tbo Touch is fast becoming one of the biggest media moguls in SA.

After leaving Metro FM in 2016, he set up his own online radio station, Touch HD. He has since ventured into the world of TV, partnering with Soweto TV to create new local content.

Tbo Touch also has his own wine, fragrance and earphone brands.
